I love helping people feel better, and that’s what makes dentistry so rewarding for me. I knew I wanted to be a dentist after a personal experience where a dentist relieved my pain during a tough time in high school. I’ve since earned my dental degree and specialized training in implants and orthodontics to provide the best care for my patients. When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, working on home projects, and keeping up with new technology. I look forward to helping you with your smile!

My path to dentistry started during college when I joined my father on dental mission trips in South America - those experiences truly shaped my future! After Bethel University, I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. I absolutely love helping anxious patients feel comfortable and seeing amazing smile transformations! When I'm not in the office, you'll probably find me at our family cabin with my husband and two daughters, hiking the trails, or enjoying some dessert!

I’m passionate about helping people feel their best and have been lucky enough to do so both as a dentist and through humanitarian dental missions. I earned my dental degree and received advanced training in general dentistry, including procedures like wisdom tooth removal, root canals, and implants. I speak Spanish fluently and love connecting with my patients in meaningful ways. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family. I’m excited to help you achieve a healthy, confident smile!
Dr. Eric Westergard
After graduating with honors in Chemistry from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, I completed my DDS at their dental school (ranked fourth in the nation at the time - go UMKC!). I spent my first 5 years practicing in Kansas City before moving to the Chicago area, where I've been caring for patients ever since. My approach is simple: be honest, be compassionate, and provide exceptional care. When I'm not at the office, you'll find me doing yoga, trying new restaurants, or spending time with my two wonderful children!

FAQs

Can virtual care replace seeing a dentist in person?

No, and we won’t pretend it does. Many things need in-person care, like fillings, cleanings, and extractions. But a lot of what sends people searching for a dentist can start online: pain, a question, a second opinion, or figuring out how serious something really is.

What if I actually need to be seen in person?

That’s where Care Coordination comes in. If you need in-person care, our care team helps you find and book an appointment with a nearby, in-network dentist. You don’t have to start from scratch or call every office near you to figure out which one has the earliest availability.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We accept hundreds of insurance plans in all 50 states. No insurance? No problem. We also offer affordable self-pay options.
